THAT the Election Compliance Audit Committee move into closed session for deliberations as per the provisions of s. 88.33 (5.1) of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.

THAT the Election Compliance Audit Committee commence legal proceedings against Ward 11 candidate Bill Leduc for apparent campaign finance contraventions in accordance with s. 88.33(17) of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996. AND THAT the City Clerk be authorized to retain an independent prosecutor, with all the normal duties and powers of a prosecutor, to commence a legal proceeding against the candidate.
