the City of Greater Sudbury fill the vacancy for the offices of Councillor – Ward 2 and 3 by way of appointment; AND THAT Eric Benoit and Michel Guy Brabant be appointed to the office of Councillor – Wards 2 and 3, respectively, for the term ending November 14, 2026 provided that they are qualified under applicable legislation to be elected or to hold office as a member of Council for the City of Greater Sudbury; AND THAT staff be directed to present a by-law at the City Council meeting on March 19, 2024 to formalize the appointments.
