the Kalmo Beach 10 Year Plan concept proposes new features and maximizes the use of existing features and focuses on circulation, accessibility, parking and wayfinding; the addition of a tiered decking; a new vision for the west beach area, the naturalization of existing park areas; improved support facilities; and a formalized trail network; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Greater Sudbury directs that staff prepare a business case to be presented during the 2023 budget deliberations, to provide funding to conduct all of the preliminary design and study work, as well as cost estimates for the various components, and which outlines all of the necessary steps needed to bring the project forward in accordance with the Kalmo Beach 10 Year Plan.
